Warranty details are explained clearly so you know exactly what's covered going forward.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
You won't find us buried under layers of call-center scripts — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. We carry the credentials Lake George inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, residential or commercial.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes how we diagnose problems — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Lake George and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Lake George is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Lake George rooftop unit. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Lake George's housing stock.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Lake George properties actually need.
A dead system in the middle of a heat wave or a cold snap isn't just inconvenient — it can be a real safety issue for kids, pets, and older residents. Our Lake George dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Lake George homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Lake George are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Lake George, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle indoor air quality upgrades for homes with allergy or asthma concerns for Lake George households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
This is the standard every Lake George technician on our team is held to.
Every repair comes with a workmanship warranty explained in plain terms before we leave.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
A little attention to how your system is running can save you a lot of money and discomfort.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
If you're calling about the same problem every few months, the underlying cause likely hasn't been fully addressed.
You'll know the cost before a wrench touches your system.
Because our trucks are stationed near Lake George, we're rarely far from your address.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.

After thousands of service calls across Lake George, a handful of causes show up again and again.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Setting a programmable or smart thermostat to a consistent schedule reduces the number of times the system has to work hard to catch up to a big temperature swing. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Lake George area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
